Utilizing Light

As photographers, we are always "chasing the light," and many of us aspiring to be photographers ask how we can take our photos to the next level. Rules in photography are meant to be broken, but as a general rule subject and composition are not enough to make a great photo! The best way to see this is to look at the same subject under different lighting conditions. I am not saying that one particular condition is better than another, as they all convey different emotions. It is up to the photographer to ask themselves what they want to convey, and then a matter of waiting for the right light.
