Owl is well in 2015!
2015 is off to a great start, with lots of owls! So far this year, I have seen long-eared owls, short-eared owls, northern pygmy-owls, and barred owls. I also heard some northern saw-whet owls, but it was 3:30 in the morning, so I wasn't able to see any of those. Fortunately for those of us who don't like birding at 3:30 in the morning, but who like photos of owls, I have a collection of owl photos from this year to share below. Enjoy!
